A Culture of Real Accountability

It has been said that “Culture eats Strategy for breakfast.” What has not been said is that Organizational Structure eats Culture for lunch!

In the same vein, it has been said that developing a Culture of Accountability is the only approach that empowers people to be the best they can be. What has not been said is that a culture is an emergent property, or the consequence, of its organizational structure and design principles.

Don’t Be Fooled By “Magic-Wand Solutions” Offered by Many

In order for a culture of accountability to emerge, the right organizational structure must be designed and implemented in the first place.

Do not be fooled, no matter how many world-class accountability thought leaders share with you all their “state-of-art practices proven every day in companies around the world “— including the latest methods to develop “true accountability” in your organization, no accountability culture will ever emerge, let alone sustain itself, without first addressing the organizational structure and design principles involved.

How To Convert the “Not-My-Job” Into “I Own It, And I’ll Fix It”?

Experiencing specific methods that “transform concepts like accountability, engagement, quality, customer satisfaction and sustainability from intellectual theories into practical motivators” does very little, if anything, to drive change, let alone sustain it.

For true and sustainable accountability to take place, the right organizational structure must be in place.

Hence, the paramount importance of creating an environment conducive to the desired accountability and positive behavior.

How To Close The “Accountability Gap” And Lead From “Above the Line”?

You can permanently eliminate blame, denial, and other attitudes that sabotage every initiative and success from the very beginning.

To do so, you need to build a transparent work environment based on integrity and trust and, for this to occur, the right organizational design principles must be in place.

“Can You Hear Me Now?” Communicating More Openly & Effectively.

Yes I can, but you do not need to “discover how other leaders are using the latest in feedback processes to get the answers you need to create successful programs and achieve your goals.” All you need is the right organizational structure and design principles in place, period!

“How Can I Scale Accountability And Keep Innovation At Its Heart”?

First of all, you do not need to “scale” accountability. With the right organizational structure in place, everyone throughout your organization is accountable by default. So, you don’t need to keep addressing mere symptoms or to “find solutions to the challenge of building engagement and trust across departments, geographic locations and generational differences… to create a cohesive single-minded focus for your entire organization.” All you need, once again, is the right organizational structure!

The only approach that sustainably empowers your people to be the best they can be is creating an organizational environment conducive to such behavior!

No one, neither as a team member, nor as leader, can get everyone to take personal accountability at every level, let alone sustain it, without the full volition of the individual him/herself.

It will be indeed a daily struggle, even with all “the right training, tools, and trained facilitators.” No one can “make your vision and goals a reality, and create a corporate Culture of Accountability,” unless and until the right organizational structure is designed and implemented by your own people, no experts required.

Actually, no experts should be allowed, for they only create resistance to begin with, and cost you a fortune!

…Get fully-equipped to take what you learn back home and spread it throughout your organization effectively, as a Certified Facilitator… or if you’re already certified, enhance your training to be state-of-the-art!”

Blah, blah, blah, blah!

Shameless promises, to say the least.
