A Merlin God In the 21st Century

Never ceases to amaze me how, in plain 21st century, there are still people who believe in a magic god, a Merlin god.

They take the scriptures literally and truly believe man and woman were created from mud and brought into life by the breath of their Merlin god.

God, The Almighty, is not a Merlin god.

Then, there are others who foolishly think that science contradicts religion. When in fact, science and true religion, complement and support each other.

Creation and evolution support and complement each other. It is just a matter of having and open mind and heart to see it and understand it.

Faith, is not believing in any religious dogma. Religious dogmas are believes without questioning. Whereas faith, questions everything, to the point that, when there is no longer any scientific or logical explanation, faith comes to the rescue of both science and religion.

Faith is not believing, but knowing. Knowing that it is precisely because there is no scientific or logical explanation about something, that we must exercise our faith.

Believing is easy, for it requires no real effort other than a simple desire to believe. Knowing, on the other hand, requires much effort and absolute Faith.

Faith is knowing, beyond any doubt and without any possibility of proof!

Faith is the innate and deepest desire of our heart to know where we came from and where we shall return after death.

Faith is the essence of Love.

And love is the essence of creation!
