Abortion: The Right To Kill?
The greatest misconception about abortion seems to be that it is about a woman’s right to choose over her own body. If that were the case, abortion would not be an issue after the fact that the woman already chose — deliberately or not — to get pregnant. What about in the case of rape? Obviously, no choice was made there by the woman, nevertheless, the innocent life that was conceived remains innocent regardless of the manner in which conception took place.
Abortion is not about a woman’s right to choose over her own body but about the right of an innocent life to be born. There is no such thing as a fundamental right to abort.
Every right comes with responsibility for otherwise it would become debauchery.
The right of the woman — and man — to have sex comes with the responsibility to take care of the consequences.
Tragically, though, when something is against the law, a subculture emerges by default, where the costs and consequences become much bigger.
Nevertheless, how can an innocent life be condemned to death because the woman — in whose womb the development of this life takes place — does not want to carry a pregnancy for nine months? If she still does not want the child after giving birth, she can give it up for adoption.
