Dear Wayne, a major reason why time goes by faster as we age is the fact that time, relative to our age, becomes smaller, e.g., when we are 1, one year is 100% of our existence, when we are 10, one year has been reduced to 1/10. So, by the age of 50, one year has indeed become 1/50th of our existence. Hence, our perception of time.
