Great article Katherine. A couple of comments, “hierarchy” is viewed by most as something negative, it isn’t. You see, hierarchy is analogous to structure, without it, you have a mess. The problem we have is with a restrictive or dominant hierarchy, which was good two hundred years ago. Now, we need just the opposite, namely, an enhancive hierarchy, non-dominant.

On a different note, you state in your profile “Talent fully developed is the highest moral good.” Sounds great, however, do you really think that talent can ever be “fully” developed?
