The Crucifixion

Most people cannot help but feel horrified when contemplating the crucifixion of The Christ. It is only natural, death by crucifixion was the most painful death Romans could think of and ultimate price to pay at that time and at any time. “How can a loving and almighty God put His only son through this?” is a common thought.

What most people think and have been told about the crucifixion of The Christ is that it is the ultimate sacrifice. However, this is a human perspective. We must strive to view it from a divine perspective, namely, as the ultimate precious gift from God, handed down to humanity through the Holy virgin Mary in the body of baby Jesus!

Jesus entered this world at a humble manger and exited this world by defeating death at the tomb through His glorious resurrection.

Nothing can even come close to it. Not even the mightiest of powers on Earth, nor the greatest richness in the entire universe.

Not a thing!

When we view the Crucifixion of The Christ from its overwhelming and eternal perspective, we are better able to understand that any pain and suffering that we encounter in our life is not only insignificant, and cannot even be compared to the everlasting and glorious gift of eternal joy in paradise, but it is actually the best way to come closer to God here on Earth.
